I have here today a page I made of my daughters together. As adults, they all lead busy lives and live in various parts of the world. It's a special time when they are all together. This was my oldest daughter's birthday weekend. Her husband had surprised her the day before with an overnight stay for all the family at a waterpark. We came from all over to celebrate her 30th birthday! This particular moment was while we were out and her husband was at home working on yet another surprise- an official party!
I wanted to capture the earthy feel of the photo, and I selected the Hazelwood kit. I fussy cut all the butterflies except for the large one the bottom. I cut out the doily from a stash of Bazzill Basics paper with my Cherry Lynn French Pastry Doily die. I am entering this in the Scrap Our Stash May Challenge.
For this challenge, you must use something from your stash for each of the letters in the word
MOTHER. Here's my stash for MOTHER:
M-My Girls, title, Media
T-Today in the layout, and Tsukineko Shimmering Mist (gold over the butterflies, and corners)
H-Hearts, Hazelwood paper
E-Epherma (the large butterfly, gold foil hearts, gold "lovely" and the flowers); Embellishments (button and heart paper clip)
R-Re-inkers (Close to My Heart, Sweet Leaf, Moonstruck speckled in the corners)
Thanks for looking! Feel free to leave a comment, and I would love for you to follow me!
